Nonreciprocal transport, which is a rectification effect reflecting noncentrosymmetric crystal structures, investigated in semimetallic MoTe\penalty1000\-\allowhyphens{}${}_{2}$. It clarified that nonreciprocal transport powerful probe of structural and/or electronic phase transition.
